Valle de la Luna (Valley of the Moon), Ischigualasto Provincial Park, San Juan Province, Argentina. The place where „the moon sets“ definitely looks like from a different planet. Unsurprisingly the scientists have found fossils of various dinosaur species, buried here tens of millions of years ago. The park was even included in UNESCO’s World Heritage list. At the entrance of the park visitors can observe the replicas of the fossils. The visitors can climb Morado Mount from where an amazing panoramic views open. It is even possible to camp in this vast terrain. It is said that at night, in the moonlight, the site becomes even more dramatic when the gray sand looks like white and reminds the surface of the Moon (text source: www.pandotrip.com).
